2nd Nature Creative Studio is a small, eco-conscious art business based in Aurora, Ontario.
We transform found treasures—like acorns, pinecones, and driftwood—alongside pre-loved objects into one-of-a-kind, hand-painted art meant to be seen, used, and loved once again.
Every "second life" starts with a little bit of creativity.
From Roots to Art
Hello!Hi, I’m Bonnie Ho!
My creative roots go way back to my childhood, where I spent my days endlessly curious about flowers, trees, and the tiny creatures hiding in the grass. That early fascination grew into a lifelong passion for the planet, eventually leading me to study Environmental Studies in university.
Along my journey of self-discovery, I recognized that I’m at my absolute happiest when I’m making things by hand. Whether it’s crafting thoughtful gifts for the people I love or experimenting with new materials, creating has always been the place where I feel most comforting.
By day, I am an event planner. fun, logistics, and innovation definitely run in my blood! But as much as I love bringing events to life, nothing speaks to my soul quite as deeply and strongly as bringing my creative vision to life .
2nd Nature Creative Studio is the happy meeting point of all those passions. Bringing my event planning background into the mix means the studio isn't just about creating art on my own—it's about bringing people together to learn how to create it, too! Through hands-on workshops and parties, I love guiding others to transform everyday materials and discover their own inner artist.
Here, I’m all about "transforming the everyday"—taking items that might be headed for the trash and turning them into hand-painted, one-of-a-kind treasures, from small, joyful clay accessories to reclaimed art pieces. Every material deserves a second life, and every piece tells a unique story.
My goal is to make creativity feel accessible to everyone. I love the idea of a world where our first instinct is to breathe new life into what we already have, where handmade pieces replace the disposable, and where doing our part for the earth feels less like a chore and more like a beautiful inspiration. It’s about making sustainability feel like, well… second nature!
